Pulled on my boots, got packed, cause it was time
Her life could not contain the restless part of mine
I'll stop by for a bottle of black label as I'm headed out of town
Got some gas in my bike, no destination past the road I'm headed down.

Now I'm watching the sunset fade on me
Drinking, keeping this campfire company
Alone tonight here in the desert it's her face I see

She almost found her way into my heart this time
